I have been on cabergoline for a couple of months and i just discovered that im pregnant. i have subsequently stopped taking the medication but im worried if this will not cause any problems in my pregnancy when the prolactin levels rise again?

Prolactin ?'s: High prolactin treated with Cabergoline and subsequent pregnancy may allow a small pituitary tumor to gain in size, producing increased levels of prolactin as a marker. See a high risk (maternal fetal medicine OB physician to follow your pregnancy closely. Rapid growth of a pituitary tumor may require treatment.
