Talk to ur doc: There are other causes for high prolactin such as medication side effects, pregnancy...But a pituitary tumor is very possible with a prolactin of 189. It's helpful to find the cause so you know you are not missing something. Only knowing what info you gave above, i think a MRI is appropriate. Talk to your doc.
