A member asked:

When i do exercises, i get cramps in my legs. does my body have a shortage of something?

Leg cramps: If your calves hurt when you walk, artery blockage or spinal stenosis may be the cause. Frequent leg cramps may be caused by deficiencies of calcium, magnesium, potassium, but can be from abnormally tight muscles. Stretching the calves twice a day may help. Discuss with your MD who can check your leg circulation and order blood tests.
