See your pcp: Difficult to say without examination. I would reccommend seeing your primary care physician for evaluation and treatment. Your symptoms are suggestive of "restless leg syndrome " and there is effective medication available by prescription for this condition. Best of luck!

Leg cramps: Hi. This could be a magnesium deficiency, b12 deficiency , iron deficiency or even dehydration. Try taking these vitamins and I would suggest getting your blood checked. Thank you, Dr. Sethi

Common: Leg cramps are a common problem. The cause is unknown, though. Try magnesium supplement, tonic water with quinine, potassium supplements may help. Local heat or topical rub such as bengay/icyhot or voltaren (diclofenac) gel may be of some relief. Avoid exercise before bedtime.

He needs to be seen: and properly evaluated and diagnosed, so treatment could be started for him. The reasons for his pain might be from his spine, hip or Sacroiliac joint, Knee joint; or a nerve lesions like Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome (like Carpal T in hands), where pain from the foot gets referred to the leg/calf. It might be the Charlie Horse. Without being evaluated it will be difficult to get rid of it. Good Luck.

Cramping: Making sure that you are getting enough electrolytes such as potassium from bananas in your diet for one, as well as water. If the cramping continues i would see your pcp.
