A 19-year-old female asked:

a person was wettening her fingers before turning pages of my book. can i get any kind of disease including oral bacterias if i touch on the same places of the page?

Not likely: Specifically if you do not do the same. Regular hygiene and washing your hands should take care of the possible germ load on your fingers. And that applies to any other activity specifically before eating.
