A member asked:

I just did my first dose of terconozole for yeast infection at 11 weeks pregnant!!! is my baby ok???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Being an optimist...: Being an optimist, babies are always presumed OK unless there is a strong reason to think otherwise. Being a pessimist would be a bad habit for a parent, as it can be contagious and spread to her child. Optimism is recommended! Anyway, vaginal terconazole treats yeast vulvovaginitis... and one's fetus has no clue that there is a yeast vaginitis next door nor that terconazole is there treating it.
