It all depends: It all depends on “what” is causing your jaundice! The only one who can answer that is your Dr. in regards to jaundice returning, it can return any time your bilirubin levels rise, such as in liver disease or an obstructed bile duct. It can also develop if large quantities of red blood cells are broken down, (producing bilirubin).
