Dark stool: Dark stool might be due to bleeding from upper GI tract such as stomach or small intestine, please see a doctor.

Jaundice: Often jaundice can cause very light colored stools. If you did have jaundice, it depends on what the cause was. Did you gave hepatitis? You should see a doctor for an examination as different forms of hepatitis have differing risks.
