Yes, just yes.: Even in a normal person, up to a pound variation can occur with stool. This can go to 3 pounds if there is significant constipation. ALSO, water weight in a normal person is an additional pound variation. With running, it can go to 2-3 pound changes and with conditions where the fluid level is abnormal due to organ failure, a 5% variation is quite common.
