Flu vaccine: Good for you! Flu shots are extremely safe; Guillain Barre syndrome is an extremely rare side effect. You can expect slight pain as the vaccine is injected, and maybe soreness at the site for a couple of days. That's all. Ignore rumors you might hear (and can find on the internet) about vaccine causing flu-like symptoms or a "minor case" of influenza. It's an urban myth.
