Bacterial vaginosis: What you have experienced is common, i.e. respopnse of BV to antibiotic (usually metronidazole) but with prompt relapse after treatment. Speak with doctor about alternate antibiotics (e.g. clindamycin) and/or vaginal boric acid. Best to avoid sex or consistently use condoms until it's sorted out, maybe a few weeks. BV often is associated with other STDs; need testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia.
