Urine odor: Strong urine odor usually is not a sign of infection or kidney problem. Most often it's just the result of foods eaten recently and fluid intake. In women, it could actually be vaginal odor showing up in the urine -- get checked if you have vaginal discharge or odor, signs of possible vaginal infection. Otherwise, drink lots of fluids; most likely no odor with increased urine flow
