I have arthritis in my lower back spine, not sure if it spread to my arms and finger. my thump is in pain, only when you move it. my left upper arm is in pain, cant pick up heavy stuff or put in power, even sleeping on my left side is painful,4weeks ?

Arthritis: The thumb symptoms may be from arthritis, injury or overuse syndrome. The shoulder,arm complaint is more characteristic of a tendinitis or bursitis of the shoulder joint. I recommend being examined by your physician, rheumatologist or orthopedic specialist for diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime try applying alternating cold and hot applications and, if you can take them, ibuprofen or naproxe
