Exam!: A more detailed history & exam at a clinic are needed as soon as possible for proper evaluation & treatment of this condition. Considerations included in a differential diagnosis include irritable bowel syndrome, food sensitivities, bacterial or viral infections, medication or alcohol use, stress, inflammatory bowel disease & cancer.
