My menstrual cycle changed from 4 to 3 weeks with heavier and more painful than normal flow and big clots(2cm+-) around the 2nd or 3rd day. i'm 47 years old and not sure if this is normal menopause symptoms or should i be concerned?

Not normal: Increased menstrual interval frequency and heavy bleeding with clots are never normal. There is a problem that needs a GYN MD to sort out when you make an appointment soon.
