Purple ears: This may be from venous blood in prominent veins of the ears or may be acrocyanosis seen in people with chronic lung disease or cold exposure.. It is not as concerning as central cyanosis seen on the lips which associated with low oxygen saturation(under 90%) due to poor circulation.
