Heads up!: Head trauma can be tricky. Things ER doctors worry about are loss of consciousness, bleeding, confusion or neurological issues. If you have been hit in the head and the inside of the ears are purple, you may actually have a skull fracture. There are many other things your doctor can look for that may indicate fractures/bleeding and given the symptoms you have, I'd get it checked out.
