I have slow transit constipation. stools are very hard and require a lot of straining. i am beginning to have right sided neck/shoulder pain during straining. seems almost shock like. what could this be? worried? chronic back low problems as well.

Lhermitte’ s: If your symptoms feel like electrical current and seem to originate centrally you might experience Lhermitte’s sign that reflects pathology at the spine level, possibly cervical in your case. Hope it helps.
