NO LAXATIVE: should be used daily! Hard Stool can be safely treated with COLACE (docusate sodium) (which is iteself NOT a laxative) You should discuss IBS C (Irritable Bowel Syndrome-Constipation) with your PCP (Primary Care Provider)!! Hope this helps! Dr Z
