Many ways: Enroll in a formal smoking cessation program for emotional, physical group support. Consider nicotine replacement therapy (patches best, add gum/lozenge for acute craving) for about 3 months. Several prescription meds - Zyban (bupropion) and Chantix (varenicline) together with programs achieve a 40% quit rate. Wanting to is the chief necessary ingredient. Congrats on trying, and good luck!!
