A member asked:

My daughter has a bladder infection with a pinkish cloudy urine. she took amoxyllin antibiotics and know her urine is a very dark brown. she is 15 years old?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Worrisome: Bright red blood or pink in the urine suggests bladder or lower tract issues. When/if it is brown it suggests any bleeding originates from high in the urinary tract, usually the kidneys & may represent a significant complication of an otherwise simple process. I would contact her treating doc & arrange for a follow up visit.
