Can you get strep throat from taking a high dose of probiotics? i suddenly caught strep throat last year. i took a probiotic and the next day my throat became very sore and it developed into strep throat. could there have been a connection?

Coincidence: Probiotics are basically common healthy germs that help balance out your digestive tract germ population. They are ingested, pass through the stomach & start working further down in the digestive tract. They are not strep and have nothing to do with any throat infection.
