Yes : Studies show probiotics are an excellent way to proactively prevent antibiotic associated diarrhea. Yogurt not enough but won't hurt. I recommend Saccharomyces, the probiotic Florastor, which is a yeast and not killed by antibiotics. Best for kids and adults especially those with a sensitive stomach. Then add or switch to lactobacillus for one month after stopping the antibiotic.
