Probably yes: Congratulations for your groing family. Whether s/he is free of HIV depends partly on when testing was done. If done soon after birth, additional testing is necessary. You and the baby should both be under care of a doctor or clinic with lots of experience managing HIV. With proper treatment, you should have a normal life span and your baby will remain HIV negative. Good luck!
