It is possible: Nothing is 100%. Even witout HIV medication, you baby can be born with a negative result. I would caution against doing this however

Straighten this out: You need to be proactive and be sure there is no misunderstanding. Insist on having a copy of the lab slips and an explanation of why you were not offered medication.
