My cholesterol is borderline and my doctor suggested a calcium scoring test. i have had other ct scans and am worried about radiation from this test. should i just go on a statin and forget about the calcium scoring test?

Not x-ray : Calcium scoring test doed not use conventional radiation. Lose weight. Cut down on saturated fats and start exercising after checking with your doctor.
