A member asked:

Would it be unusual or concerning for magnesium supplements to cause nausea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nausea and mag: You need to ask yourself the question: why am i taking magnesium (m) supplements? You also need to get a blood m level. Nausea is one sign of a high level of m. If high, stop the m supplements and consider not using them in the future. If your m is normal, see a gastroenterologist to evaluate you for answer to your question.
