NAFLD: If you just have fat but there's no damage to your liver, the disease is called nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). If you have fat in your liver & signs of inflammation & liver cell damage, the disease is called nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). With NAFLD most people don't develop liver damage but a few develop NASH. I wish you well with your health!
