Unclear: The relationship between chondroitin and prostate cancer is unclear. A few studies suggested an association between the two, but a clear cause-effect relationship has never been established, and other studies don’t show any association at all. At this time, it’s hard to make a strong recommendation either way, just understand that a health risk can’t be ruled out.
