Sharp pain behind right ear area down the side of neck when putting head back.. pain up the whole right side of neck in the back after popping shoulder earlier.. what could this be?

See below : Hi there, sounds like a muscular problem related to the shoulder issue, don’t worry, if the shoulder issue was resolved properly by a doctor, the neck pain will go away, you could try off the counter pain relief medicine like Advil and put some warm pads over it and/or some pain relief cream. It should go away in 3-5 days.

Muscle : This is likely irritation to sterno cleido mastoid muscle. The muscle origin is on the mastoid process just behind ear and then travels to right clavicle.
