41 yr old f, new dx mctd/fibro/sjogrens & early scleroderma. visible lymph nodes in rear sides and back of neck (hairline & ear to shoulder; not jaw like they check) will these stay forever w autoimmune disease or something to look into further?

You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

One issue here is whether it's advisable to perform a lymph node biopsy to rule out lymphoma. My sense is that the lymphadenopathy can be explainable by the mixed connective tissue disease and in absence of fever,night sweats,weight loss, biopsy isn't indicated. The enlarged lymph nodes are related to tissue damage in this disease& as long as the immune system causes active damage, nodes remain
