Is it possible to have new intolerance to rice? i can eat bread, pasta, gluten, etc. but feel sick/achy after eating rice. i eliminated, then ate rice on it's own, feel same effect (i used to eat white rice daily for years with no issues until now)

Yes: One can react adversely to any food. While not common, it's definitely possible to develop an intolerance to rice. The best way to tell is what you did, eliminate and challenge. I advise totally avoiding it for 6-12 months, then try again to see if you tolerate it better. Food sensitivities are usually caused by imbalances of gut flora or parasites. I advise seeing an integrative practitioner.
