Basics: You don't have rabies today since it takes weeks to a year to develop. Your risk will depend on the dogs access to outside potentially rabid animals. The various counties keep track of regional rabies activity & the types of animals involved. I would contact your local health department for their advice. They may choose to just monitor your dog or might send you for shots.
