Does homosexual intercourse cause hiv? or does one person need to have the virus in order for the other person to get it?

One person infected: The only way you can get infected with HIV via intercourse is if your partner ALREADY has the HIV virus. If the two of you are both negative for HIV then there is no risk of infection by having intercourse.
