A member asked:

Six months ago i had a viral infection (mono) and my neck lymph nodes had swollen and after got shrink but i still feeling a pea-sized, movable and soft lump under my jawline, with no growing in size. is this normal? can this stay forever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: The nodes under the jaw line may be due to something going on in the mouth. Ask you dentist at the next check up. You may watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
