Hello, i am looking for a psychiatrist or md that prescribes control meds for conditions . i have med records and hospital rec. i have medi-cal la care and i would like a doctor that can accept me asap with this insurance. my previous doctor retired?

Try looking online: Years ago, listings used to be available only in printed form. By the turn of the century, lists had become available online everywhere. Now, some lists are only online, and no longer printed. County medical societies, hospitals, insurance companies usually list medical doctors by name, specialty, and location. Looking at the Psychiatrist list on the insurer's site should give results.
