See2nd dermatologist: The best way to get a second opinion would be to see a different dermatologist. The vast majority of moles are not anything to worry about, but moles have a slight chance of becoming melanomas. Dermatologists should be well-qualified to determine if a mole is of concern but if you are concerned see another dermatologist. If both agree it is fine then you can rest easy (or catch it early).
