Tension,stress: I doubt that GERD is responsible for these symptoms which are very characteristic of chronic stress and tension. I recommend stress management coaching , but you should discuss this with your physician as he/she knows all your history and findings.

I have really bad acid reflux. I ate a cupcake before bed and it triggered my acid reflux. I tried Pepcid Complete but it may my throat and chest burn. I take protonix in the morning Im not sure why its not helping now? Its very uncomfortable?
