Pac's, pvc's: If these premature beats are very frequent I feel that a complete cardiac workup is indicated including cardiac auscultation,echocardiogram and treadmill stress test and thyroid tests. EKG was ok.If a cardiologist deems these premature beats not serious but nevertheless causing symptoms, beta blockers may be prescribed and are often helpful.
