That depends: That depends on what the medication is. If you are given a benzodiazapine you may fall asleep, feel sedated & are likely to be calm. If given an anxiolytic like Buspar (buspirone) or an antihistamine with anxiolytic properties it is less likely to have a dramatic effect. Don't drink alcohol with the medication.
