Twitching: Muscle twitching can be for various reasons. Electrolyte problems such as sodium, potassium, calcium or magnesium can be a cause. Stress itself can increase sympathetic tone and that can in itself cause cramps. A thyroid issue may explain thing too.

Possible stress/anxi: please consult BOTH your PCP and a clinical psychologist for this issue. Medically, this could be related to metabolic issues and should be investigated.
