See Obstetrician!: Standard meds used in therapeutic doses for acute and chronic pain appear to be relatively safe during pregnancy. To minimize fetal risk drug interventions should be used at the lowest effective dose. NSAIDs should be avoided after 32 weeks’ gestation due to prolonged bleeding effects. Opioids should be used only with caution. But don't self-medicate. See your Obstetrician to discuss treatment!
