Influenza testing: Pregnant women with Flu symptoms should be tested for Influenza. If the Influenza test is positive then antiviral medication should be started. If Influenza is not present then the symptoms may simply be a common cold or other virus. Over the counter medications for colds may be appropriate. An evaluation by a doctor should be done first
