A member asked:

Help with diet to trest reactive gastritis and barret's metaplasia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Barrett's: Metaplasia is more serious than dysplasia and I trust you're followed by a gastroenterologist and are on appropriate medications. As for diet, avoid caffeine, alcohol as well as nicotine. I favor no spicey, fried or greasy food and no eating for 2 hours before bedtime.. Avoid irritants like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen.
