Do not worry: About 40% of people with intestinal metaplasia also had an H. pylori infection.Decrease your risk factors-decrease alcohol and no smoking .Control your acid reflux and talk to your doctor.Not everyone thinks it is precancerous so the jury is still out on whether it is or not.
