Check dosing: The correct dose is 10mg/kg/dose of ibuprofen for children, you can alternate every 4 hours with acetaminophen, same dose, use cold compresses, bathe your child (avoid air drafts) etc. If fever still not breaking or getting sicker, better see the pediatrician, wish you both wellness
