Anytime: Since empaped is a different type of medicine (acetaminophen) it could be given at the same time as nurofen (ibuprofen). Some who want ti stack these meds (use both) will alternate them on a 4 hour schedule. I find this is unlikely to be helpful. Fever is a natural body protective mechanism & increases circulation of natural antibodies/white cells during illness. I just use ibuprofen.
