Watch her: I would watch her. If the fever would persist, than take her to er. Be sure she drinks enough fluids with electrolytes. The virus might be re-bounced.

Not yet: Viral intestinal infections are very tough on toddlers. In very little time they can become very dehydrated, and this alone can pose some very significant health risks. One spiked fever alone, is likely not reason for an er visit, but if it continues and vomiting and and diarrhea cannot be controlled with ensuing dehydration, then an md or er visit is worthwhile.
