I gave my son an excedrin extra strength at 7 pm and now he is running 102 fever. can i give him a 600 mg ibuprofen?

It would be prudent to consult with his pediatrician as he may have an infection requiring antibiotic treatment. You may give him ibuprofen as it is different from Excedrin. Make sure he drinks enough water and/or juice so that he passes urine every 4-6 hours.
