Not particularly: A low grade fever is often a sign of a simple viral illness. Fever raises the pulse rate so blood & healing factors move along faster. A kid at that age is expected to get 3-5 such illnesses/yr & most self heal. If the kid feeds well & keeps up with fluid needs you can monitor this at home. If another symptom spooks you have the kid evaluated.
